Course Summary

This Study Programme provides you with hands-on experience in our fully equipped workshops, you will develop practical skills crucial for excelling in the field. Additionally, you will delve into mechanical theory, acquiring valuable knowledge about the industry’s workings.

Units Include:

  • Skills in healthy, safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment
  • Skills in supporting job roles in the automotive work environment
  • Skills in materials, fabrication, tools & measuring devices in the automotive environment
  • Skills in routine light vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of routine light vehicle maintenance
  • Knowledge of removing and replacing light vehicle chassis units and components.

Entry requirements

You must be between the ages of 16-19. There are no formal academic entry requirements; however, an initial selection interview is mandatory.

If you are 16-19 there are no course fees payable, however you may have some costs associated with uniform, equipment etc.
