Course Summary

This Horse Care course for 16-19-year-olds is ideal for learners who want to take their first step into the land-based industry with little or no previous experience. You will develop essential knowledge and practical skills in horse care, including grooming, feeding, handling horses safely and supporting their health and wellbeing, preparing you for further study or entry-level roles in the equine sector.

Units Include:

• Safe And Effective Working Practices In The Land Based Industries

• Assist With The Preparation For Exercise And Aftercare Of Horse

• Exercise Horses Under Supervision

• Maintain The Health Of Horses

You will experience collaborative learning in a dynamic classroom environment led by expert tutors along with practical and work experience at Kimblewick Riding School.
