Course Details

This course covers a wide range of practical skills and theory knowledge for the trade, helping you to gain employment as a bricklayer within the construction industry.

Through practical lessons, you will work through a series of tasks to develop your hands-on skills, all set by the awarding body to demonstrate and verify your techniques. Your theory lessons will provide you with the underpinning knowledge of the construction industry needed to apply your skills on site.

In your second year, you will need to complete a minimum of 40 hours of work experience, to give you the experience of working on a real building site.

Why study with us:

  • Previous students have proven success acquiring jobs and apprenticeships with top companies like Persimmon Homes and Lovell.
  • Receive expert instruction from highly qualified tutors in modern on-site workshops.
  • Gain insights and build industry connections with masterclasses and site visits with developers like Lovell and Morgan Sindall.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment will be predominately through practical tasks in the workshop.
