You will study a range of engaging modules such as the fundamentals of psychology, an introduction to the legal system, and the principles of criminology. You will also develop essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and effective communication.

As you progress through the course, you will explore more specialised topics like forensic psychology, criminal law, theories of crime and deviance, and the societal impact of crime.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

All units are internally set and assessed by your tutors. Assignments will vary and could include presentations and tests as well as reports and essays.

Entry requirements

Level 1 Requirements: GCSEs at Grade 1 or 2 and a successful interview.

Level 2 Requirements: GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English and Maths.

Level 3 Requirements: GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English and Maths.
