Moving from school into learning or employment with training can be tough for many young people for all sorts of reasons. You might feel alone or lost as to what you can do next. Our guidance and young person's advisers might be the answer to helping you find a solution to your worries. Many programmes that might help you build your confidence, help with your wellbeing, and help you develop employability skills are listed below. Aspire - throughout Norfolk
Provides support to enable or assist young people that need more help to overcome worries or barriers to education and training.
Clarion - On-line and In-person Norwich
Clarion offers free training to help young people gain their CSCS card for the construction industry and free help and employment training for young people interested in entering the construction industry.
Fresh Start - College of West Anglia - King’s Lynn
Fresh Start is a supportive and positive learning environment intended to develop study skills and improve self-confidence. You can work towards a City & Guilds qualification in Employment Skills and successful students can progress throughout the year, from Entry Level through to Level 2. The course will help life, communication, study and employability skills.
Ixion - Shaw Trust - Jump into Work across Norfolk
Jump Into Work offers you support to achieve your goals and progress into work or training.
Lola Stafford - Smile Project - Broadland, Great Yarmouth & North Norfolk
Confidential sessions to support with, choosing a career; deciding on courses and where to study them; overcoming anxiety or a lack of confidence; coping with change and much more. Meet-ups can be online or in person, daytime, evenings or at the weekend.
Mint from City College Norwich - Norwich but working with employers across Norfolk
Mint’s aim is to help young people to overcome barriers and find employment. Each young person is assigned an Employment Job Coach for assistance with support applying for jobs, such as, creating CV’s, attending interviews and much more.
Norfolk Employment Service (NES) Across Norfolk
For people aged 18 and over with a disability, mental health needs, an Autism spectrum disorder or a long-term health condition. Helps young people that are looking for paid work, voluntary work, an apprenticeship, work experience or further training.
NSFT Wellbeing Employment Service (NHS) - Across Norfolk
Employment Advisors provide advice, motivation and guidance about barriers people are facing in relation to work. Additional support specifically around employment; can be accessed before, during or after other wellbeing support received from therapy. Employment Advisor support people to reach personal goals around finding, returning to, or remaining in employment.

Skills Connect - across Norfolk
Specifically for young adults aged 16-24, Skills Connect aims to help individuals from any background who may be struggling to find or apply for jobs, courses and training. Friendly advisors can help with CV writing, completing applications, support with confidence and help with employment skills.
Smart Futures - On-line service
Smart Futures may be able to help you achieve up to Level 2 in both Maths and/or English Functional Skills (GCSE equivalent)
The Bread Kitchen - Great Yarmouth
Horticulture, Animal Care, Employability and Maths & English and much more. Engaging, training, supporting, raising aspirations and empowering young people to change their lives. The Employability course helps develop confidence, employability skills and build a CV.
The Discovery College
The Discovery College offers free educational online courses and webinars on mental health topics for 16 - 25 year olds.
The Local Supported Employment programme across Norfolk
For young people 18+ The Local Supported Employment (LSE) programme is for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. The aim of the programme is to help you get a job and stay employed.
The Matthew Project - On Track (Including Safe Space)
