The T Level in Marketing is a 2 year program that will equip you with essential knowledge and skills for various marketing roles.
Course Details
To help prepare you for these types of roles and career challenges you will:
• Understand the purpose of marketing and its impact on organisations.
• Learn about marketing as a management process, market types and routes to market.
• Explore customer needs and want and link to marketing objectives.
• Discover the importance of the marketing mix (the 7 p’s) product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence.
• Career options include:
• Advertising and media executive
• Digital Marketing manager
• E-Commerce manager
• Events manager
• Fundraiser
• Marketing assistant
• Marketing researcher
• Public relations manager
The most impressive part of studying a T Level in an area you wish to seek employment in, is that it really prepares you for the jobs of today and tomorrow. Blending learning with practical experience of marketing. Marketing is not just about advertising that is the end result. Take an advert or a brand and work backwards to explore who is it really aimed at and how do we know?
In the second year of the course you can specialize in the area of marketing assistant (multi-channel) which means communicating using several different channels, like digital, billboards, taxi wraps, print, retail storefront, websites, print and more. The key thing to understand is that the more channels that a brand appears in, the greater chances of the right people seeing your adverts.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The way you will be assessed is by undertaking 2 Core examinations, an employer set project, an occupational specialism project and the awarding body is Pearson. This qualification is the equivalent of 3 A Levels.
Entry requirements
Grade 5 in English Language and a grade 4 in Maths and Science are required.
