Course Details
Our Digital Music Production course will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the digital music industry, through a wide-range of practical-based topics. You will learn the advanced techniques needed to become a proficient user of industry-standard recording software.
You will dive into the world of sound design and synthesis, creating your own software instruments and bespoke sounds from scratch, while learning the fundamental principles of sound. You will also use your skills to create music and sound effects for film, video games and other media.
In your second year, you will learn advanced recording, mixing and mastering techniques, producing a music project of your choice – this could be an EP, an album or a computer game soundtrack.

You can progress to university to study various arts-related subjects. Students have gone on to study music technology, film composition, audio engineering, music business, sonic arts, electronic music production and popular music performance.
