Work Experience

From the 2026/27 academic year, Norfolk County Council's Children's Services traded work experience service into schools will be changing. To support Norfolk schools with planning, organising, delivering and evaluating ‘standard’ work experience activities for students on block placements, WEX Norfolk have published a range of materials. On this page you will find a range of factsheets covering the most important topic areas (under Work Experience, Factsheets) and a series of suggested templates and other resources that you might like to download and use (under Work Experience, Resources).

Over the coming weeks/months we will produce and publish a list of work experience FAQs on this page, so please do check back from time to time. Please contact the team on work.experience@norfolk.gov.uk if you have any general queries; your questions and the team’s responses will be added to the FAQs.
