Course Summary
If you have completed a level 2 qualification in vehicle body and paint operations and are seeking employment in the automotive bodywork industry, this course is for you.
Course Details
The course will cover:
- Preparing plastic vehicle components
- Plastic welding and repairing
- Carrying out various body repairs
- Filling
- Spraying
- Dismantling techniques
- Maintenance of spray booths
- Colour theory both in practical and at theory level
How will it be delivered and assessed?
Assessment will be via both practical and theory-based studies.
Entry requirements
You will need to:
- Have studied Vehicle Body and Paint Operations - Level 2, with good attendance and progress reviews studied at CWA or another further education provider. This does not include level 2 courses studied at school alongside GCSEs
If you are aged 19 or older, relevant industry experience may be accepted.
You will be invited to an information session to help us ensure the course is right for you.
