Course Summary

Do you want to take the first step towards a future in managerial and administrative roles? Our T-level Management and Administration Level 3 course will arm you with real-world experience and the core knowledge and skills needed to progress into the world of management.

The T-level qualification combines learning in the classroom with gaining ‘on-the-job’ experience. Our two-year management course will teach you core knowledge in a variety of areas. In the first year, you gain knowledge in Business context, People, Finance, Project management, Change management, Business behaviour and quality and compliance.

In your second year, you will go on to specialise in Business Support. You'll cover elements in support businesses, support the running of the organisation, Organise and prioritise workload, Recommending and delivering improvements to business practices, How to build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships, and how to manage the business information flow

There is the option to have a property specialism added onto this course. If you decide to add this option, you will study the following:

Unit 1: Health and Safety, Security and General Law (COM1)

Unit 2: Law Relating to Residential Property Sales (SRP2)

Unit 3: Practice Relating to Residential Property Sales (SRP3)

Unit 4: Property Appraisal and Basic Building Construction and Defects (SRP4)

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment will take place through a combination of externally set exams, an employer-set project and endpoint synoptic assessment.

Core Component

The Core Component (first year) is 100% externally assessed. The assessment consists of:

Exam Paper 1

Exam Paper 2

Employer-set project

Occupational Specialism Component (2nd year)

Externally set assignment (Business Support)

Property - There are 4 multiple choice exams taken throughout the 2 years

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs grades 9-4 including English Language and Maths at minimum grade 4, and a successful interview. Or the successful completion of a Business Level 2 programme with a Merit grade or above with English Language and Maths GCSE 9-4 , and successful interview. Interviews will include an interview task. You will also have to provide a reference.

Your next steps...

Students can go on to university to study courses as diverse as accountancy, law, business, marketing, human resources, event planning, business management as well as joint courses combining Business with, for example, a language. Students also use the Business course to lead into Apprenticeships and career opportunities in areas such as; retail, customer service, banking, sales, marketing, administration and becoming an entrepreneur.

If you choose to study the PropertyMark qualifications you can also progress into a career in estate agency.

Career Progression

Successful completion of this course will allow you to progress onto a career in the Business sector. You could enter employment or start an Apprenticeship.
