T Level Foundation in Engineering

You can apply for up to two courses (except A Level subjects where you must select a minimum of three).

You will only be invited to book an interview for your 1st choice course initially.

This Engineering T Level Transition programme will prepare you for entry onto Engineering T Levels including Mechanical, Mechatronic and Fitting and Assembly Technologies.

The programme will develop your knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Engineering technical knowledge and skills

Knowledge and skills for the workplace

Skills for successful study

English, maths and digital skills

Work-ready behaviours and attitudes

The Engineering elements of the programme will cover the below outcomes:

Propose design solutions to meet specifications

Apply practical skills to produce engineered products

Solve problems with innovative engineering ideas

English GCSE at Grade 3 or above and GCSE maths at Grade 4 or above

Successful students could progress on to Engineering T Levels including Mechanical, Mechatronic and Fitting and Assembly Technologies.

This course will provide you with knowledge and skills relevant to careers in the engineering industry.
