Course Summary
You will study theory and practical work that will help you to progress on to A-Level Biology or AQA Applied Science Level 3 including modules
Assessment is by examination but you will be expected to carry out practical work in the Biology laboratory that will help you in your future studies and career.
Course Details
This course is intended for students who have not achieved a 4 grade or better in any science course. Many careers require a 4+ grade pass in a science-based subject and this course gives you an opportunity to extend your science knowledge and upgrade your GCSE result. You will need to complete this GCSE if you intend to pursue a career in teaching or nursing.

Organism level systems
Community level systems
Genes, inheritance and selection
Global challenges
It is an interactive course with many practical activities. A dedicated revision guide and workbook will be provided.
