English Language will enable you to develop your skills of Communication, research, analysis and interpretation. The first unit of the course will provide knowledge of the key features of spoken and written frameworks. This knowledgewill be applied in a variety of ways to the subsequent units of study. English Language is a highly respected and versatile academic qualification, which is well regarded by universities and employers. Assessment is through a combination of examinations and coursework. This course will provide opportunities to • Conduct your own research • Acquire editing and creative writing skills • Attend conferences and lectures at other institutions • Pursue some of your own enthusiasm and interests in the coursework assignments
