If you have a passion for modern politics and care about the future of our country and world, then A Level Politics is for you.

Course Details
During this course you will:
Gain an understanding of contemporary political structures and issues in their historical context, both within the UK and globally
Develop a critical awareness of the changing nature of politics and the relationships between political ideas, institutions and processes
Develop knowledge of the influences and interests which have an impact on decisions in government and politics
Learn about the rights and responsibilities of individuals and groups
Develop the ability to critically analyse, interpret and evaluate political information to form arguments and make judgements
How will it be delivered and assessed?
3 exams, all two hours in length.
Entry requirements
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and maths and, for this specific subject;
GCSE grade 5 or above in history
