Course Summary
Ever wondered why politicians can’t just all get along?
Ever wondered how certain people get to make decisions about your life and wondered in what ways you can do anything about that?
Ever wondered what democracy is really all about?
Politics looks at all these issues and more. Politics tries to find out who hold power, why they hold power and how they are held to account for using that power.
Politics also gives you the chance to debate, discuss, argue and persuade your friends to see things your way. Politics is a great subject which teaches you about how the UK works (or doesn’t, depending on your point of view!)
