Iceni Care describes itself as a vibrant day care centre providing services for adults with learning disabilities within the Great Yarmouth area. They have a large team of experienced & passionate support workers providing a number of services, support and opportunities to all individuals. Their aim is to provide the highest standards of care and support to everyone that goers there. The Care Service offers people the best opportunity to continue to develop their independence in a warm and friendly family like atmosphere and their emphasis is on enabling people to maximise their independence and to become integrated within the local community in their recreational and leisure activities.

The Otium Centre offers day care provision for adults with additional needs. It is a privately-owned day provision for young adults from the age of 18 upwards who have additional needs, learning difficulties and/or physical disability. They are situated in Oulton, making them ideally situated for members in northern Suffolk, Waveney and southern Norfolk. They recommend visiting them to see their facilities and talk to staff.

Barrington Farm is an independent day services centre for adults with learning difficulties based at Walcott on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The hub of the facilities is a converted barn which houses an art centre, gym and café and social centre. It's all set in 22 acres, with a lake, gardens and a small, rare breeds farm. A recent addition to the centre has been a purpose-built sensory room.

The charity supports adults and children with learning difficulties to live the life they choose and part of their extensive range of services includes their workskills programmed designed to teach skills for life and work. About with Friends’ mission is to give people with learning disabilities the opportunities they are entitled to and to live the life that they deserve. They offer support, activities, guidance and care.

Your choice social centre is a day service provider for young adults and adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Your choice social centre has grown and developed over the past 9 years. They offer a bespoke service to all their members creating packages designed for them The social centre is constantly looking to evolve and develop new opportunities for members and future users. 

In the community hubs, there is a full range of activities on offer and these will vary depending on the goals worked towards together. Independence Matters provides creative sessions, such as music, arts and drama and their hubs have large grounds for horticultural and outside fitness activities.

They also support with very practical things like complex care support needs, medication or support with independent living skills such as cooking, healthy eating, and managing money through to support with work experience and getting a job. Their hubs all offer full Gateway Assured Accredited Learning Programme providing opportunities to learn new skills and interests. Depending upon need and outcomes, support is offered on a one to one basis or as part of a small group.

Edfords uses Green Space Therapy to support vulnerable adults form across the region. At Edfords Care Farm they offer support to vulnerable adults and youngsters living in various forms of care as well as those in education. They use green space therapies to help each of their co-workers achieve their personal goals whether they are looking for support on their own ladder of recovery, working toward independence or looking for a safe place where they can be themselves and enjoy their time taking part in the activities on offer at Edfords.

Edfords has been designed to cater for a number of different levels of ability from working in the petting area with the rabbits and guinea pigs through to full farm maintenance all the time giving everyone time to be themselves in a peaceful and rewarding setting with the opportunity to be involved in a variety of new activities.

Topcats offer support for young people and adults with additional needs from the age of 5 years to 30 years old. It offers fun, friendship and the chance to build transferable life skills in an engaging and welcoming environment. Once a young person has joined Topcats, they ensure that time is taken to get to know each individual and make sure they are at ease with a key worker who will support them to make their own choices. 

Their primary aim is to help each individual develop their own social independence and life skills in order to reach their potential in a supported environment. In addition, they are able to supply young people with a vast range of exciting sensory, art, sport and music equipment, to help them build up their awareness of themselves and the world around them.

Working with people with physical, sensory and other disabilities, Centre 81 assists members to develop their abilities, enjoy themselves and become more independent. Once members have decided what their aspirations are Centre 81 staff are available to offer a variety of support to assist members to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Every member has a personal achievement and development plan to chart their progress.

A not for profit organisation that prides itself on listening to and building on the needs and aspirations of children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities, enabling people to break down barriers, to achieve aspirations and to have opportunities to lead better lives. They offer new opportunities and social experiences and deliver programmes to support in transition into independence and the world of work.

Holt Youth Project exists to provide a safe environment for young people to meet and socialise with the minimum of supervision, this builds their social communication skills andpromotes ownership.

The centre is a place where young people have opportunities that empower them to reach their goals and aspirations through various programmes and activities. Dedicated staff create a friendly environment and are on hand to support and welcome all young people whatever their background or need.
