In the community hubs, there is a full range of activities on offer and these will vary depending on the goals worked towards together. Independence Matters provides creative sessions, such as music, arts and drama and their hubs have large grounds for horticultural and outside fitness activities.
They also support with very practical things like complex care support needs, medication or support with independent living skills such as cooking, healthy eating, and managing money through to support with work experience and getting a job. Their hubs all offer full Gateway Assured Accredited Learning Programme providing opportunities to learn new skills and interests. Depending upon need and outcomes, support is offered on a one to one basis or as part of a small group.
