Support for disabled apprentices 💼

Disability Rights UK has loads of helpful info to answer your questions about apprenticeships. 

They cover things like: 

  • Support during an apprenticeship 
  • Financial help 💸 
  • Your rights if you have a disability, health condition or learning difficulty 

It’s definitely worth checking out if you want to understand what extra support you can get and feel more confident about starting an apprenticeship.

Access to Work – extra help while you train

You might also be able to get support from Access to Work

If you're eligible, they can help you with loads of things like: 

  • Travel 
  • Specialist equipment 
  • Job coaching 
  • Making work more accessible 

This support can continue while you’re doing your apprenticeship too so you’ve got help every step of the way.
