The Open Academy has a specialism in the Environment. The Open Academy has a caring and supportive ethos which allows students to develop in a way that suits them best. We believe in the individual worth of each student, their creativity, and in their potential to develop individual talents. Our vision is to ensure that each student grows and develops self-confidence and self-esteem and has the best possible opportunity to achieve their goals and dreams. We want to create an Open Learning environment which will reinforce the sense of involvement, learning and community. OA6 is the Open Academy Sixth Form

As one of the smallest sixth forms in the county, we aim to provide you with a specialist level of support and a tailored educational experience to suit your particular needs. We pride ourselves in offering high quality and unique experiences that could help you progress on to an exciting future in the world of employment or Higher Education.

Whether it is through our strong links with a range of universities, unique partnership with Wroxham Football Club, support of local and national businesses, our professional standard hair salon, by following our A levels or BTECs, if you you feel we have the right courses for you, we are committed to helping you to achieve success. The highest educational standards are important to us, which is why students and staff review teaching and learning together, in partnership with educational experts from across the country. In these challenging economic times, we believe that it is essential to equip you with experiences that alongside strong grades will help you stand out from the competition. From creating digital voices for local charities or working in community projects with a local museum to having your own undergarduate or business mentor, we want to help you develop a portfolio that challenges others.

A key element to our support at OA6 is the use of Private Study. The sessions are supervised by teaching staff. The aim is to provide you with a productive working space to focus on your own independent learning.
