Course Summary
The Bloom programme is specifically designed to boost wellbeing, reduce feelings of isolation, and help participants develop new skills that facilitate their return to employment. It is tailored for women 18+ who are currently unemployed and seek to advance in their lives.
Course Details
Bloom is run over 10 sessions, with a three-hour session at the same time each week. The sessions are led by female members of staff from our team, as well as volunteers with lived experience.
Each week there will be a different activity or topic. These vary but typically can include mindful bread making, creative journaling, dance therapy and guest speakers talking about employment. Some of the sessions are run at our own venues in Norwich while others take place at other safe women-only venues in the city and in collaboration with other partner organisations.

The programme will equip you with new skills to move forwards and make positive changes in your life. We will support you every step of the way by helping you to identify your strengths and give you the confidence to tell people about them. We know from previous Bloom sessions that the women's self-esteem grows, wellbeing improves and they gain new skills which will appeal to future employers.
