With over 480 million native speakers, Spanish is the world’s second most widely-spoken native language after Mandarin Chinese, and is one of six official languages of the United Nations.

Spanish is spoken not only in Spain, but also throughout most of Latin America and by over 40 million native speakers in the USA.
