You will only be invited to book an interview for your 1st choice course initially.

Course Summary

This course will provide you with the opportunity to develop basic hand skills and technical knowledge in a range of Construction trade areas. The course will include both practical and theory sessions and you will also cover personal development topics to develop employability skills to support preparation for further study, an apprenticeship or sustainable employment.

Course Details

During the course you will spend the majority of your time in a workshop environment working towards practical tasks and assessments in the below trade areas. Health and Safety is a big part of the course and you will develop your understanding of safe working practices, tools and equipment used in the below trades. On successful completion of the course you would have the opportunity to progress to a Level 1 in your chosen trade specific pathway and this would be explored during your Multi Skills course.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

All practical assessments will be taken in the workshops. Theory assessments will be taken under exam conditions.

Entry requirements

There are no formal GCSE entry requirements, but you will be expected to attend a pre-enrolment taster day.
