Course Summary
Graphic communication conveys information and ideas through visual means. The critical element for a graphic designer is the effective communication of a message or idea through the organisation of images and words.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The course is 60% coursework and 40% exam and is all assessed through your portfolio. The four components that you are assessed on are:
Recording information
Developing ideas by responding to graphic artist's work
Developing your ideas through graphics
Final pieces of work
Entry requirements
Grade 5 or above in GCSE Art
