Careers Information for Schools and Colleges
Every school and college across Norfolk and Suffolk is supported by a dedicated Enterprise Coordinator, a strategic link between education and the world of work. Schools and colleges also have the opportunity to be matched with an Enterprise Adviser: a senior professional from a local business or organisation who volunteers their time and expertise.
Enterprise Advisers play a key role in strengthening careers provision. They work closely with Careers Leaders, Careers Link Governors, and Senior Leadership Teams to shape and deliver a high-quality careers programme aligned with student needs and the local labour market.
Drawing on their experience, networks, and supply chains, Enterprise Advisers help schools and colleges to:
- Broaden students’ exposure to the world of work
- Identify and address gaps in employer engagement
- Support progress towards the Gatsby Benchmarks
- Build lasting links with local industries and sectors
Together, Enterprise Coordinators and Enterprise Advisers form a powerful partnership that helps young people across Norfolk and Suffolk make informed, confident decisions about their future.
