We're inviting schools, colleges, employers and organisations across Norfolk and Suffolk to join Norfolk & Suffolk Careers Connected, a new platform designed to make it easier for education providers and employers to connect, collaborate and inspire the next generation of talent.
For employers, the platform provides a straightforward way to build relationships with local schools and colleges, showcase career opportunities, offer activities such as careers talks, workplace visits, mentoring, mock interviews and work experience, and help develop the future workforce they'll need.
For schools and colleges, Careers Connected offers a simple way to find and engage with local employers, discover opportunities for students, arrange careers activities and build meaningful partnerships that support careers education and employer engagement. This creates a single place to connect with businesses, promote requests and coordinate activity more effectively.
Once registered, users can start making connections straight away. Employers can promote opportunities and offer support, while schools and colleges can search for employers, advertise events and request involvement in activities through the platform's interactive dashboard.
The platform makes it easier for education and business to work together, helping young people make informed choices about their future while raising awareness of local industries, career pathways and skills needs. It also supports employers in building their profile, strengthening community links and inspiring future talent.
