What is Disability Confident?
Disability Confident is a UK Government scheme that supports employers to recruit, retain and develop people with disabilities and health conditions. The scheme helps organisations to:
- Challenge negative attitudes towards disability
- Remove barriers to employment
- Create inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive
Developed in partnership with employers and disabled people’s organisations, Disability Confident is designed to be practical, flexible, and accessible—including for small and medium-sized businesses.
