Course Details
Our T Level in Surveying and Design for Construction and the Built Environment will help you to develop knowledge and skills in a range of core elements that underpin the construction industry.
You will learn the key concepts and theories in design, surveying and planning. You will boost your knowledge in a range of topics such as design principles, project management and health and safety. You will also learn about the commercial side of construction, including stakeholder management, business structures and entrepreneurship, as well as budgeting and resource management and procurement.
As the construction industry is always evolving, you will dive into the world of digital technology, innovation and sustainability, to understand how the industry will be shaped in the future.
Then you will be able to put everything you learn into practice, with a substantial industry placement of a minimum of 315 hours. This will give you an amazing opportunity to work with an local or national construction employer while you study, and gain invaluable experience as well as key skills that employers are looking for.

Entry requirements
You will need to have achieved a GCSE grade 5 or above in maths, English and science.
