Project SEARCH

Project SEARCH offers one-year internships if you have difficulty finding employment. This will provide you with employability skills, gained through intensive classroom sessions and a variety of worksite placements. The goal is for you to gain the skills required to achieve suitable, sustainable and paid employment.

This practical course runs five days a week at the hospital. You will participate in a variety of internships within the hospital/business, acquire competitive, transferable and marketable job skills, gain increased independence, confidence, and self esteem, and obtain work-based individualised coaching.

There are no specific entry requirements, you just need an enthusiastic and mature approach to education and learning. You will also need excellent attendance and timekeeping throughout the course.

You could progress on to sustainable paid employment after this course.
