Course Details

This is a fast-paced and engaging personal development programme. The course aims to boost confidence and employability skills; supporting progression to employment, apprenticeships and further or higher education.

Work-based learning is at the heart of the curriculum. You will work as a team to take on various projects and challenges in support of the local community. Team working skills, work experience and projects all help to create an impressive CV, along with improved confidence and this course will support you to take your next step into employment, education or training.

You will take part in fundraising, a community project such as planning and completing a project for a local charity or organisation, for example painting and decorating, gardening, conservation and promotional resources.

Entry requirements

Aimed at people aged 16 to 25 and not in employment or education, the 12-week full-time course is fully funded and your Universal Credit is unaffected! The course will equip you with skills that will improve your chances of progressing into work or further education.

Your next steps...

You could progress onto paid employment, an apprenticeship, further education, higher education, university, training, volunteering or become a Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador.
