Asdan Towards Independence

Our Independence curriculum is based on the ASDAN Towards Independence Award Programme. We currently complete modules in Independent Living and Out in the Community.

As well as the ASDAN courses,the key aim of the college is to prepare students for their next move to a further education placement and preparation for adulthood. The main focus of the curriculum is Personal, Social, Health and Independence Skills. Students continue to work on their key skills in Maths, English and ICT, as well as Spiritual Social Moral and Cultural development, PE, Swimming, Current Affairs and Expressive Arts. The college works with various outside agencies to work on specific projects and follows the Titan program.
