Waiting for exam results is bound to make you nervous.
It's important to remember not to panic-whatever the outcome, Connexions Norfolk is here to support you.
This Thursday, (21st August) 16 Year olds across Norfolk will be nervously tearing open that envelope to reveal their results.
For some the results will be just as they expected or better and they will be able to make choices on the next steps to take regarding Courses, Jobs and Apprenticeships
For others the results will be disappointing but whatever the outcome advice and support is available through Connexions Norfolk to help you move forward to your chosen path.
Communications Manager at Connexions Norfolk Emma Bugg said:
Regardless of the results, this day is a momentous occasion in a young person's life and after they have taken some time to let the results sink in, they often find themselves asking a number of questions about their future - this is where Connexions are able to offer advice and support.
We'd advise any young person who didn't get the results they had hoped for not to panic or second guess what to do next. We want to reassure young people that our Personal Advisers are here to support them and help them work through all options available
Connexions Personal Advisers will be on hand at many schools across Norfolk to provide impartial advice and guidance to any young person who wants to discuss their results and future options.
However school isn't the only place where help is available. Connexions Norfolk has six Centres across Norfolk and extra staff will be on hand to talk to any young person that wishes to drop in and speak to a trained adviser.
