Student Apprenticeships

Student Apprenticeships are an exciting way to broaden your experience and qualifications in Years 12 and 13.

  • Attend sixth form in the usual way.
  • Study towards your chosen qualifications.
  • Gain workplace experience and to a work-based training provider to work towards an NVQ.

The amount of time you spend with each will vary according to your chosen sixth form programme. However you can expect at least one day a week with an employer, with the remainder of your time split between sixth form and the work-based training provider - whatever best suits your needs.
